Special Enrollment Period (SEP) – Qualify for Coverage Anytime

Life changes don’t always happen on a schedule. If you experience a qualifying life event, you may be eligible for a Special Enrollment Period (SEP) to enroll or update your health insurance outside of Open Enrollment. Qualifying events include:

• Moving to a new area
• Getting married or divorced
• Having a baby or adopting a child
• Losing employer-based coverage
• A change in household income that qualifies you for new savings
